Earn SFO recertification contact hours
at the Annual Conference & Expo, Leadership Forum, and on ASBO Learn. To receive SFO contact hours, attendees must complete the session evaluation to verify attendance (or as outlined for the specific event) or meet the requirements for online learning opportunities, including answering the evaluation questions.



Earn CPE credits
at the Annual Conference & Expo, Leadership Forum, and on ASBO Learn in fields of study including Personal Development; Finance, Auditing, Accounting (Governmental); Personnel/HR; Business Law; and Accounting. View all fields of study.


Annual Conference & Expo:
To receive CPE credit for CPE-eligible education sessions, attendees must scan in and out of sessions using their badge to verify attendance, and be present for a minimum of 50 minutes per credit hour. Attendees must also complete the online session evaluations that are available after the conference ends. Attendees will have the option to print their certificates they complete the evaluation after attendance is verified.

Leadership Forum: Attendees must confirm their attendance by completing the session evaluations and meeting the time requirements. Attendees are required to be present for a minimum of 50 minutes per credit hour and complete the evaluation for each session they attend. Attendees will receive their certificates via email in mid-April after attendance is verified.

Webinars: To receive CPE credit for CPE-eligible webinars, attendees must be logged into the webinar for at least 50 minutes, enter their first and last name upon entering the webinar (must match first/last name on registration), and answer at least three of the five polling questions throughout the webinar. Registration and participation reports will be analyzed after the live webinar to confirm attendance, and engagement and certificates will be awarded only to participants who have complied with the above requirements.

Most of ASBO International's educational programming is offered at a basic program level and requires no program prerequisites or advance preparation unless otherwise noted. The instructional delivery method for all workshops, seminars, and discussion groups is group live. The instructional delivery method for webinars is group Internet-based. Recorded webinars are not eligible for CPE credits. 

Association of School Business Officials International is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its web site: www.nasbaregistry.org.

Earn CAE credits at the Annual Conference & Expo, the Leadership Forum, and Strategic Governance Symposium. These events meet the requirements for fulfilling the professional development requirements to earn or maintain the Certified Association Executive credential. Every program that we offer which qualifies for CAE credit will clearly identify the number of CAE credits granted for full participation, and we will maintain records of your participation in accord with CAE policies.
