ASBO International Announces Collaboration with University of New Haven to Expand Professional Learning Opportunities

Reston, VA – March 19, 2026 — Supporting school business leaders, ASBO International has announced a new collaboration with the University of New Haven to expand access to online micro-credential courses aligned with the Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations (SFO) courses.

The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO International) has announced a new collaboration with the University of New Haven to expand access to high-quality, flexible professional learning opportunities for school business professionals.

Through this collaboration, the University of New Haven will serve as a preferred provider of online micro-credential courses aligned with ASBO International’s professional standards in school finance and operations. The courses are designed to support individuals pursuing careers as school business officials, as well as those seeking to deepen their expertise and advance in the profession.

The program supports pathways toward the School Finance and Operations (SFO) certification, including meeting eligibility requirements for both certification and recertification. Each seven-week, fully online course focuses on key areas of school business leadership, including budgeting, financial management, human resources, operations, and ancillary services such as transportation and facilities.
